I took it for several years and it helped for a while. When I weaned off it I had nerve shocks and itching for several weeks that was pretty bad.. Unless pain gets too unbearable I will stay off it.

I was on it ! I didn’t find much improvement with it myself, but have heard great things from others! Coming off of it wasn’t the best process.

It doesn’t really help my fibromyalgia but it does help my anxiety. I take 100-200mg when I’m having a panic attack or more anxious.

Helped me a lot. I started out at 100mg 3 times a day and am up to 300 twice a day (3 years later). I need to get it upped some but it's been a game changer for me. That being said don't expect your situation to work the same as mine...or anyone else's cuz it won't :(

I personally didn't get any improvement with Gabapentin. But that doesn't mean it won't help you. Give it a try.

Likewise, I didn’t have a good experience with gabapentin. I was on an extremely high dose and it didn’t even touch the pain. it made me retain fluids and gave me blood clots. Lyrica may be a safer choice

I was on it it didn't mess with my anxiety or depression but everyone is different

I started it for a concussion. When it was time to come off my fibro flared and only improved when I increased the gabapentin :(

It used to help, but i Changed to Lyrica. It helps.

Stay away from that gains weight makes you hungry alot and causes other side affects

It made me feel like a fat zombie, but it works for my boyfriend who also has fibro

I had zero luck with Lyrica but gabapentin has literally saved me! Don't get too scared by comments - give it a shot if you truly want. It made a world of difference in my life.

I did but i was allergic, one day my daughter FaceTime me n this was her face 😳😳 mom what’s wrong with YOU?? I did felt weird but a was so much going on with me that I thought was normal🤷🏻‍♀️ my face was so swollen you can’t even see my eyes. My husband call the Dr. He told him to stop the gabapentin n prescribe something urgent. I had gain over 39lbs with the wonderful medication that almost kill me 😳😳😳😳

I did! It worked, but not as well as the previous med I was on, so I switched back!
