Considering a Gastric Pacemaker - Any Advice?

Howdy! Has anyone had a gastric pacemaker or known someone who's had one? My doctor is considering one for me because I've failed tube feeds, liquid meal replacements, Botox in my pylorus, and medication. So the pacemaker is the next step for me - but I'm a little nervous lol.

My gastro doctor hasn't recommended that for me yet. My gastoparesis is still pretty new, but it has been causing some stomach issues

I’ve heard wonderful things about them and almost got one myself, but then I was diagnosed with MCAS and found out I likely would have had an allergic reaction to the pacemaker. I use domperidone now and that medications has worked wonders for me

I have a pacemaker and it’s literally saved my life. I went from not being able to eat or drink really at all without throwing it up to now, throwing up maybe twice a month. Feel free to message me with any questions about it!😊
