Struggling with Gastroparesis: Need Help with My Diet

hi my names Veronica I have Gastroparesis and I find it very hard to find things to eat cause it feels like everything I eat makes me sick i was wondering if anyone else has this problem

Yep it’s REALLY hard for me to eat. I find myself forcing myself to eat so I can take medication. It’s really a struggle for me right now too. I’m currently doing an elemental diet to try to give my system a rest.

Hit up the baby food aisle when grocery shopping. The pouches will give you some nutrition, I’m sure you’ve probably been told to get the meal replacement shakes but I cannot tolerate those. They do make ensure clear which is like a juice

Purée Your Veggies. Eat Miso Soup with Udon noodles. Applesauce. JELLO. And Ginger Tea Candy Fresh. Also Any Form of Peppermint Can Help. I Swear by Bergamot

Yes. 99% of everything I eat comes up. For years my doctors were accusing me of doing it on purpose. After all (because of oth medical problems) I weigh over 250 lbs and I'm only 5flt 1in. I hate it. I found that taking BioTrust's supplement "GutReg" seems to help some.

I boil steaks and bake them like a roast takes forever but worth it if you learn how to season it the way you like

I got a dietician and did a good diary with her. We were able to figure out a diet that works for me.

I honestly have found that since they put me on meds i still couldnt eat but when i use edibles for my back pain i can eat and eat so maybe try canibas if you can
