Concerned about Gastroparesis Symptoms - Need Advice

I feel extremely full even after eating very little. However, I don't throw up. I have to spend a lot of time laying down and recovering after a meal. Could this be a sign of gastroparesis?

Hi there! This could be gastroparesis, I have it and I don’t tend to throw up much quantity wise if at all. I would talk with your doctor about your symptoms and seeing if you can get a stomach emptying study done, that way you know for sure it is just gastroparesis and not something else. I know it is a long journey but it will be worth it in the end. Hugs 🩵

Thanks! I got a colonoscopy and everything looked fine. I'm scheduled for an endoscopy and I'm unsure whether they'll find anything. I'm hoping for an emptying test next. My wallet is weeping.

Yes! I don't vomit often, but I do have extreme nausea. My GI has tried several medications and they do work for most people.

Update: My stomach was full of food at my endoscopy, and the doctor said I almost certainly have gastroparesis.
