Gene Testing for Medication Doses: Worth a Shot?

Has anyone tried that gene test that determines if your meds are right for you and if the doses are correct. Sounds good in the process of seeing if my insurance covers. It’s worth a shot. I’ve tried many meds natural stuff and acupuncture maybe this is what I needed from 20 years ago

Yes! I took it years ago. It turns out that several of the meds I had been prescribed at one time or another were in the red column meaning my body metabolizes them very quickly. For example, I was on Lexapro for a couple years and it was in the red column. No wonder it never helped. I wish I could call and find those results somehow, I’m curious about some new meds I’m on.

Let me know how that goes and what to ask for. I've been wanting to do that since I've heard of it
