I'm on a low dose of sertaline, works well for me. I still feel anxious at times but I get a lot less anxiety symptoms. Without the physical sensations, its much easier to push through things that scare me. Starting out taking them was hard because you feel worse before you feel better. I also experienced a bit of nausea when I first started taking them but I've heard that doesn't happen with everyone.

Sertraline (Zoloft), citalopram (Celexa), escitalopram (Lexapro), fluoxetine (Prozac), paroxetine (Paxil), duloxetine (Cymbalta), venlafaxine (Effexor), desvenlafaxine (Pristiq), lorazepam (Ativan), buspirone (BuSpar), alprazolam (Xanax), clonazepam (Klonopin), diazepam (Valium), and hydroxyzine (Atarax) are the ones I hear of helping best. My favorites are clonazepam, fluoxetine, & duloxetine.

Regular anxiety meds stopped working for me completely. I got tested for hormones to find a fix for anxiety problems. Turned out I was low on gaba so I got put on GABApenten and it has been the best anxiety meds I have ever been on. It’s slow acting and I have to take it 3 times a day. I also have ADHD, so I combine it with high caffeine consumption to get rid of the rest of the anxiety and both have helped me a lot

Clonidine is good because it isn't one your body gets dependent on. Ativan is good for intense acute anxiety.

celexa did not work for me. It made my mornings very hazy until 2pm. It was almost as if I had a dark cloud flowing. I started to get very confused as the week went on. I had my bf having to repeat himself every 15 mins :(
