Trying out guided imagery and breathing exercises for ME/CFS

Just started daily guided imagery, paced breathing, and light stretching for my ME/CFS and can't tell if it's having good effects already or if I'm just having a really good symptom day lol, good days have been so few for me lately, feels nice Anyways definitely recommend these so far, calming the nervous system is a big part of symptom management for everyone with central sensitization 😊✨

Honestly if it work it works regardless of if it placebo effect. With ME the mind and body are so closely interwoven one easily effects other so if you can at least have a healthy mind set it will certainly help you bounce back mentally when the body is bad 😊

I completely agree. I've often considered the placebo effect a win. Often I've felt like it's a good place to start. Because it's still progress. 🤗

Sounds like it's helping to me. Calming the nervous system is central to our treatment. X

Definitely has been helpful for me. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) has wirked for my migraines. After surgery , i had 3x per day. Emdr at least reduced it to one.
