Hair Loss Due to Stress: Seeking Advice

Do any of you think your hair loss or hemroids are due to stress/ life trauma? I have heard that hair loss can be related to a stressful event that occurred approximately 2 months prior to the hair loss. hair has natural cycles and so it takes around 2 months to react and fall out. I just can't figure out why I'm loosing so much hair in clumps recently? I've had job and relationship stress, and haven't made any drastic medication changes.
