Long-Term Prilosec User with Medication Absorption Issues

Has anyone taking Prilosec for decades had medications stop working? My thyroid pills weren't being absorbed right and after a shoulder surgery last year I discovered that oxycodone wasn't either. I swore I was going to die and then I was afraid I wouldn't 😂 I tried it under my tongue like my thyroid pills and within half an hour I was ok again. Now I think maybe my glipizide isn't working either. My sugar has been stable for years but recently my A1c has gone from 6.4 to 7.8 to 8.4. I looked up glipizide and they have made a sublingual one but my pharmacy doesn't carry it. I don't know whether I should have my doctor send the prescription to a different pharmacy or have him try me on one of those new injectable drugs. Hopefully he will have had some experience with long term Prilosec and poor absorption.
