Yes! I always get tired after I eat. I do not overeat for fear of gaining weight. And I am always hungry and tired too. When I bring it up to my endocrinologist (thyroid doctor), he always tells me my levels are normal and hunger and tiredness have nothing to do with my thyroid. I have a hard time believing him.

I agree with you I ate a 1/2 sandwich and I immediately got tired I’m afraid to eat alot too.. even though our levels are “normal” we still get symptoms the meds help us for all important body functions but I still get very bad achy days like I’m coming down with the flu I call them “ bad thyroid days”

Yes, no matter if it's a salad or a pizza, I am almost immediately sleepy.

Getting sleepy after eating sometimes is related to your blood sugars.. have you been tested for diabetes or pre-diabetes?

Thank you for that thought. I am not diabetic but my number is close to begging stage. I wonder if it helps to eat a smaller portions at each meal. I mostly eat vegetables and some protein.

Mine isn’t after I eat, I am just tired all the time. It is a symptom I have been battling (along with weight gain) since I was diagnosed. Doctors all say the same thing about how my levels are normal and maybe I should try changing my diet. It is beyond frustrating.

My doctor says the same thing. Yet I eat very little and most of it is vegetables. Very frustrating
