Has anyone with Hashimoto's had thyroid cancer or surgery?

So I’m curious how many people with hashimotos has had either thyroid cancer or thyroid surgery?

I have had my right lobe removed do to possible cancer. When it was biopsied it came back cancerous. So im now on yearly checks of my other side. We caught it in time so i didnt need any radioactive iodine

I appreciate the reply when I went to my endocrinologist she said my goiter was huge and that I had to have a ultrasound asap so I was just curious cause they are going to refer me to a surgeon soon

I refused the surgery 16 years ago despite the numerous nodules and they are all gone now.
