I had to have a very low-key surgery to help it heal. It took a good 6 months to fully heal, but it's so much better now.

I healed one, it was a pain in the àss (pun intended) but it eventually got better. Lots of sitzbaths, prescription cream, mirilax. I tried really hard not to push very hard when pooping. It was at the same time as a hemorrhoid and Crohn's flare so where one ended and the next began was kinda blurred. But the sitzbaths were soothing, you can get salts to add to them as well.

oh hmm, maybe I will try sitzbaths. The set up of it all seems like a pain but I've heard good things about it.
