What change helped you the MOST in improving your health?

Overall Health Q: What change helped you the MOST? Generally, just made your day to day improvements EASIER? I’m struggling to feel motivated most days lately, and I think I need to eliminate some foods that I have emotional attachment to 😭

What has helped me the most has been realizing I don’t need to change myself. I just need to change my goals. If I can’t clean my whole room, I instead change the bar and only pick the clothes up off my floor. It has helped me stay somewhat more motivated. Also, forgive yourself for not meeting any of your goals. Sometimes you just can’t do things and that’s okay. Don’t let anyone else tell you that it’s not okay.

Measuring out my foods, which I know is a trigger for some people. But making dinner, then weighing out my portions (4oz protein, 8oz veggies, 8oz carbs, etc) that way I can place my portions in a Tupperware and I don’t have to worry about cooking. It keeps my food choices healthy and convient. That way I can’t justify going to a drive through or eating chips when I’m hungry, I just have to pop a Tupperware meal in the microwave.

Giving myself credit for the “minimum”. Like 1 load of dishes and laundry. Took my meds, brush teeth etc
