I have CHF & type 1 too, as well as a congenital heart disease, but am not sure the name of it. & I’m only 28. I’ve had 4 heart surgeries. My most recent one, I was awake the whole time. It was awful.

I’m so sorry I haven’t written back yet it’s been Crazy couple days for me. Captainofthevessels first of all welcome and it’s very nice to meet you, second of all I absolutely love your name. I can’t even imagine being away for surgery. I’ve had two open-heart surgeries and I have to get a liver and heart transplant soon but I also have to get on the list first. I was awake during a catheterization of mine and that was absolutely horrible I can’t even imagine what you went through. You’re so young I had my second surgery by the time I was your age, were you born with this or is it something that developed over the years? We are both here for you and it’s really nice to be able to talk to people that have gone through the same or similar situation so you don’t feel so alone as we do an every day life. Tell us more about you what do you like to do, where do you live, whatever you feel comfortable so we can get to know you better. I’m 41 I live in St. Petersburg Florida I’m an exbartender just because I can’t work right now and I miss my line of work so much because I’ve been doing it since I was 19 years old. I grew up in New Jersey my hometown is where they shot Jersey shore so I can open a very party environment that’s why I was so good at bartending lol. How is everything with you today? They have everything controlled through medication or do you need more surgery? Again I’m an open book so if I’m getting way too personal please feel free to let me know I’m very easy-going person and I completely understand. As for Tim how are you feeling my love? With fatty liver, it’s imperative you lose weight or you can develop liver cirrhosis like md. I’ve never been a drinker either. I’m on Ursodiol, Propanolol, and Resveratrol for my liver. Also, your A1C must stay under 6 or it will make your liver worse. No drinking, smoking, or Tylenol.
