Experiencing Heart Palpitations After Covid Recovery

I’ve experienced heart palpitations for years, and had several check ups for them. The palpitations have always been benign. I’m having a run of them again, just getting over Covid. I really do notice them coming on when I’m thinking/worried about them or anxious about something. Does anyone ever experience these sometimes in rapid sequence? For a period of time?

Yes, me too!! I’ve always had heart palpitations throughout the years and of course my tests come back normal. Recently had COVID too, and I think they crept up again. I get during a workout or when I’m still lying in bed. I close my eyes and take deep breaths, and try to meditate. I know it’s the stress and anxiety that surfaced right after catching COVID. Be well, it’s going to take time, we will get through this!! 🤗

Hello, newbie here!! I’m just a confused mom lol I found this app on Instagram.. I’m hoping I can get some answers or just listen to others. Ever since I had my daughter who is now 7 I’ve had weird symptoms of all different things. Definitely anxious, always worried about my kids and family either getting hurt or sick.. covid put me right over the edge. Especially that my entire family caught it and I would have emotional attacks every singe time someone had it. I have issues with my thyroid. But I haven’t been diagnosed with anything yet. I have been recently getting heart flutters.. I went to the ER because I was so nervous about it, and they diagnosed me with an irregular heartbeat. I am waiting to go to a heart specialist the end of the month.

I’m sorry. Your journey sounds a lot like mine as far as when the anxiety started. My kids are older now. I’ve been checked out a couple times for heart palpitations and they’ve always been benign. I guess the good news is that they weren’t too worried and sent you home. They definitely would not have done that if they were concerned at all.
