Heart Palpitations and Constipation

i have issues like that too. laying down and propping my feet up sometimes helps me! drinking some cold water or putting an ice pack on my chest/stomach/low back also helps sometimes too

I actually have an icepack in my neck right now. I just wanted to make sure it was correlated. My anxiety is driving me up the wall and honestly health anxiety sucks lol

If I don’t go for days it feels like I’m “pregnant with a poop”. This is how I describe the uncomfortable feeling to people who don’t experience IBS or constipation. My whole day is essentially ruined until I go. But I’ll silently suffer through it and push myself through the day because I don’t have a choice. If I’m lucky relief comes early or I’m up at night after the household goes to sleep dealing with it. But to answer your question, yes I feel my heart rate go up and I’ve even popped blood vessels in my face and neck from pushing so hard. When I was a kid I’d pass out on the toilet from exhaustion.
