Recently Diagnosed with Herpes Simplex 1: What Should I Do?

Hey guys my name is icantbelievethis….i was recently diagnosed by my doctor Herpes simplex 1 and the herpes simplex 2 was found inconclusive …i was then ordered to come back in four weeks and retest…I’ve been having anxiety far two weeks now im not sire what to do and where to start due to the fact that ive never had a break out as off yet and idk where I contracted it from

That’s definitely a rough place to be at. I had no idea I had HSV2 until I went to my yearly gyno appointment. I approached the two partners I could have gotten it from, both claimed they were negative and either blocked me or were too mean to deal with. The guy I’m seeing now and I had only been together 4 months when I found out. Thankfully I hadn’t passed it to him. It’s a LOT to take in… they aren’t kidding when they say it messes with your mental health way more than your physical.
