Seeking ADHD Treatment Advice Beyond Stimulants

Hey, I'm new here and just wondering if anyone has found anything other than stimulants to help with ADHD? I'm a single mama of 3 and I am really struggling purely with the adhd symptoms 😖

CBD at reasonable doses could maybe help. But I am not a professional medic. Just had the same troubles with my condition . ☺️❤️

Strattera is a prescription medication for ADHD that is not a stimulant. i can’t be on stimulants for health reasons but i have found this to help my ADHD a lot, despite it not being one. if you are wanting a non-prescription all together then i’m not sure

I take Zenbiome Cope, it’s a natural remedy. It has saffron which has been proven to be just as, if not more effective at treating ADHD than prescription meds. It has been a game changer for me.

There are non-stem ADHD meds. You have to just keep trying until you find the drug and dose that works for you. It's important to do as much research as you can going in. I've found that a lot of doctors aren't well versed in ADHD needs or how they work. Find someone that really has done their homework. For instance, ADHD meds are one of the most effective drugs in psychiatry. Meaning that a person with ADHD will be helped at a higher percentage than a depressed person taking antidepressants. It's a really well studied field and if your doctor won't work with you on dosage or different combos find someone else. I recommend looking up Dr. Russell Barkley for more info.
