My doctor can't figure out my high blood pressure. I have changed my diet and I exercise. Any natural suggestions because my prescription pills are not keeping it low enough.

Did you talk to your doctor about making your dosage higher I know for me I was given 10mg for yrs and it wasn't doing anything until I told them they need to up the dosage I now take 40 mg and my pressure numbers are down to maybe no higher than 135/90 when they use to be 188/140 or even higher and when it was that high I didn't feel sick or anything I felt fine my pressure was just high but the change in dosage is what I needed so maybe you can try that

I'm 54 years old and was diagnosed with stress induced hypertension 4 years ago after a very disturbing life altering event occured while I was hospitalized. I have never had hypertension in my life until August if 2018. It is what is, I don't take any medications for it so it's pretty much uncontrolled and I simply just live with it.

I never had hypertension until after I quit smoking 13 years ago. There is only one medication I can take without dropping it too low. Lifestyle changes I have done lately has helped drop it to normal levels lately.

I use Chamomile tea, it lowers my blood pressure with just one cup. I don't know why it works. Maybe it works because it decreases stress and incourages relaxation.

You may need a consult with a Cardiologist or Nephrologist. High blood pressure can lead to permanent kidney damage, vision damage, heart attack and/or stroke. Besides cutting way back on sodium (check the labels on all processed food, it is shocking). You should have less than 2000 mg sodium per day, I keep it at 1500mg per day myself. Besides a low stress life style, I can not think of anything else than adjusting your meds. I was on 5 at one point. In hind sight, after we passed 3 without success I would have asked for a specialist consult earlier. A Nephrologist if your Creatinine is elevated or GFR is decreased, or any protein is in your urine or a Cardiologist if you don't fit the criteria for a Nephrologist. I developed permanent damage to my vision and stage 4 chronic kidney disease for uncontrollable high BP. Best wishes!

The natural cure for high blood pressure is the combination of Potassium and Magnesium when the Salt/Sodium, Cholesterol and blood sugar is high in our bodies. Usually what can cause High Blood Pressure physically is high Salt/Sodium, High Cholesterol, High Blood Sugar and mentally is Stress/Depression. We hear from doctors that our Potassium is high, well the potassium help lower the high blood pressure naturally also with the help of Magnesium. We just need to add the food that has them in it into our bodies example: natural coconut water, any green veggies Celery, Spinach, Kale, cucumber, lime or lemon, ginger, half of green apple make it into a powerful juice and drink it twice a day of a 250 ml cup. If you ate to much Salty food well now you need to balance it with potassium and magnesium so your blood pressure wouldn't get out of control.
