What changes should I expect on hormone therapy?

I've been on estradiol and spirolactone for a month and a half. What changes should I be noticing? My nipples have been sore and it looks like my chest has grown a little. I noticed my nails and hair are growing fast and my hips are wider. Are there any other things I should look for?

Be mindful, most changes you "notice" are more than likely placebo. Depending on your age, genetics, it's hard to determine what you should expect. Your hips likely won't widen much, if at all. Especially if you're in your 20s. That's around the time the hip bones fuse permanently. Fat redistribution should be expected though, and that'll give the impression that your hips have widened. Emotions may be stronger and intense, and then stable out once you've gone through your second puberty. Sex drive may plummet. To retain the use of my penis, I put in effort to ejaculate every other day or once a week minimum. That's definitely seemed to have helped.

Also that second puberty is very long. I'm 2.5 years on HRT and just recently my checks started getting more prominent.
