So, I work in a restaurant and I found the position I was most comfortable in. Yes, I still have days where it's hard and I want to quit but then I remind myself it's just a day and tomorrow will be different.

Find something you love to do, then it doesn’t feel like work anymore. I run a homeschool preschool from my house. Just two days a week.

One thing that is helpful for me is understanding that I don't need to love my job. I just need to be able to tolerate it so that I can do what I love later. As long as the job has reasonable expectations for me, provides the health benefits I need, and provides good pay, that's enough for me to be able to enjoy my life outside of work.

I've found a lot of success in prioritizing my happiness i.e. follow the dopamine. I work as is required and spend my free time doing fun physical activities that bring me joy. For me that's rock climbing in a gym 2-3 times a week and whitewater kayaking 1-2 times a week. My hobbies help me be motivated to do the mundane stuff during the week.

That is really cool!! and I'm very happy for you. The problem is that nothing really brings me joy and my hobbies don't either so I'm kind of stuck. But thank you for commenting!

Personally, I'm always bored of my job, but I find new things to do at work and try to be the best at them. Honestly, though, you have to get personal fulfillment somewhere other than your job. I'm also working on this. It also helps if I have a job I can listen to music at. Gives me a little boost of dopamine when I'm doing menial tasks.
