Hiya, sorry if I shouldn't be asking this because I'm not officially diagnosed with something like this yet. But how do you know if there's something wrong with your immune system or if it's just within the normal range of frequency/duration/severity of illness? I've had very frequent illnesses for my entire life basically. Every time an acute illness like respiratory infections, flu, strep, stomach bugs went around near me like in school I would always get it without fail. Many many periods of sickness every year. I had a fairly severe bout of pneumonia as a kid that left me struggling for years after. Since the pandemic started I've had COVID 7 times despite taking precautions like getting vaccinated and boosted, social distancing, masking, I hardly even leave the house at all anymore. And even aside from COVID, I get sick with something about every 3-6 weeks when the people around me hardly even get sick a few times a year. Is this something I should see a specialist about or is this within normal range? I just don't know if I'm overreacting or overthinking things.
