I’ve really enjoyed the Noom app and program (not cheap but it’s been worth it for me) for weight loss and eating healthier. They really tackle the psychological aspects of eating and why we choose what we eat/how much we eat/etc. I feel like I’m learning more everyday with it. I’ve heard some negatives about it but overall, my experience has been extremely positive and my coach is super supportive and helpful. I paid for an extra meal plan program and a exercise plan program as well and those are definitely worth it as well. Just my two cents 💜 I wish you luck!

My advise would be to set small goals. Like starting with eating a vegetable a day or cuttings down on a particular food so that way you only eat it once in a while. I’d personally just focus on being healthy for now, and wait to loose weight until you are feeling more stable. You don’t want to risk getting an eating disorder.

Welcome. Are you an FF7 fan or am I way off? I second starting with small goals. For example, if you like pasta, add a vegetable or two to your pasta. Or set a goal to lose 1-2 lbs. Or start by drinking one glass of water a day. Exercise might also help but it's important to find an exercise that you like doing or else you probably won't stick to it for long. Set small exercise goals too, like walking 5-10 minutes 3-5 times a week. Then you can increase the time (or any goal) as the weeks go on. It might also help to join some kind of support group for weight loss. It can help to motivate, encourage and keep you accountable.
