Managing In-Person Therapy with No Child Care

How do you manage in person therapy when you have a child and no child care? I'm stressing about it so much. I've tried online but it makes my anxieties SO much worse.

A lot of places offer zoom or phone appointments instead of in person at this time. Maybe ask about those options?

depending on how old your child is, you could bring them with. you could ask family, friends, or coworkers if they can watch the kid for long enough for you to do your therapy session. you could go to care.com and find childcare. you could see about government assistance for childcare costs

i do facetime sessions with my therapist, and it is covered by my insurance, and has been as helpful as in person sessions were. hope this helps and if virtual isn't an option, i hope you can find reliable childcare during this time. i know facebook groups for certain areas are available for babysitting and there are people on there that are okay with sitting for short periods of time, usually college students with childcare experience will post that they are available and their profiles so you can get to know who they are and such. best of luck 🙌
