Inconsistent Effects of Depression and Anxiety Pills

If someone is taking a depression or anxiety pills and some days it feels like they don't work and some days it feels like it does, does that mean the pills aren't working or?

If they aren’t working all the time then it means it may be worth looking for an option that works better for you. Medications work different with everybody. It’s likely some won’t work well and others will. The process of finding the best pill for you can be hard but if you have the money they have dna tests for antidepressants now, they can judge your hat might work and what probably won’t based on your genes and then that gives you a head start in guidance of which might work best. Expensive but can be worth it if you’ve already tried a lot of medications

they have been working but the past like week and a half I've been feeling depressed

Depends on the medication type, I personally take setraline and there can be a point where medication isn't as effective so you need to increase that dosage. Anti anxiety and anti depressant medication changes the chemical balance of the brain, it becomes reliant on it so you reach a Point where you will need more. Same thing with pain meds.

It’s possible that you may be consuming something that is effecting the metabolism of the medication and making it less effective. This has happened to me when taking CBD made my meds completely stop working for a week until I figured it out and another week of being off of it for my meds to work normally again.
