I’m afraid if I am totally honest with my doctor about my intrusive thoughts that I will have to go inpatient and I don’t know what that looks like. Can you explain what about it made it so successful for you? I did an outpatient group program and felt great when it was done but that was a year ago and now things are worse than ever.

hey I have dealt with intrusive thoughts and at a point felt like I'd need to go impatient, but realized through some research and therapy that that in itself is a fear thought which just turns the cycle on again. Are you in therapy for intrusive thoughts? Being able to find a therapist that specializes in it helps a lot, because then you're able to break that stigma of feeling ashamed of the thoughts.
