Struggling with Insomnia, Need Help!

Hi everyone! Just downloaded this app to maybe help get some guidance from other people who suffer the same conditions that I do. I’m 24F for reference. One thing I haven’t been able to tackle is Insomnia. I’ve tried every medication I could possibly think of that isn’t addictive (Seroquel [which kick started my night terrors], Trazodone [which made me homicidal], Mirtazapine, Hydroxyzine, Gabapentin) and nothing has been able to help… Except Xanax, and I don’t wanna go on a regime considering the line of addiction in my family. Any suggestions? Please don’t say Melatonin or Benadryl because they both give me night terrors, too. Side note: I am on a medication called Prazosin (which is indicated for blood pressure regulation) but it does help the night terrors (sometimes). No home remedies either, trust me I’ve tried them all. And yes, I’ve tried marijuana and CBD oil, but after smoking 3 joints every night before bed it really drains your pockets. TIA. (:

Haha im in the same boat as you! I also hate that for me, prazosin has made all dreams and terrors go away... so I can't even really tell if I have slept heavy or just kinda zoned out
