New to Insulin Pump: Need Help with Sounds and Carb Counting

I just started my insulin pump and I’m having problems understanding what all the sounds are and with the carb counting would like to know how to help me understand it better

Depends which pump brand you have I used to have Medtronic and the sounds went with what was happening if my sugar was dropping it had a low tone and if it was raising it had a high tone.

I have the tslim 2 I am always high so I haven’t heard a low sound yet

I have the T-slim also the high has 2 beeps the low has 3. Why are you always high?

And as for the carbs your doc should have put in the insulin to carb ratio. Count your carbs and put it in and your blood sugar when you bolus and the tslim will figure out how much insulin you need
