Could my iron levels be causing my exhaustion and nausea?

My doctor has not yet recommended phlebotomy for me. My serum iron is at 260. I feel exhausted all the time, and nauseated often. Could my iron levels be affecting me even at this level?

Up to 300 can almost be normal for some folks... Have you thought about donating to see how you do? Hematocrit donation range is 13.5-20

will just regular donating make much of a difference in your iron levels? I'm going to do it to see how I feel anyway. Thank you.
