I think the general take of the studies I have looked at is that doctors are uncertain of the long term side effects of this treatment. There is little research on how it can treat bpd. I would also say speak to your doctors to make sure that it is right for you, and ask about the side effects and the risks so you can weigh up your decision. Study’s they have done are showing that it can reduce the SI thoughts. Ketamine treatment may promote new connections between neuron’s You can heave elevated blood pressure and pulse if you are receiving a higher dose. (Oxford heath)-is unsure of the long term impact it could have. Side affects- Brief- Tired, nausea and or vomiting, dissociated, dizzy, anxiety, headache Long term (theoretical)- Dependence, tolerance, bladder damage, cognitive impairment, personality change, neurotoxicity. Rare- Liver damage.
