Itchy without a Rash: Fibromyalgia Symptom?

I have read that one of the many symptoms of fibromyalgia is itchiness with rash. Has anyone experienced this without a rash? I have constant itching at random parts of my body, but no rash. Any med recommendations?

Same. Especially my legs. I’m thinking it’s my medication.

Wait...... I have never heard of this as a side effect, but I'm simply itchy very frequently, and I think it's not dry skin as my issue. I take Zyrtec every night, and that takes care of the majority of the urge to itch.

Zyrtec worked for me too. Mine was worse fmduringvthe day when the wind/air caused hives on exposed area. For me, works best to split them in half and take morning and night.

I heard that itchy feeling comes from taking tramadol but I’m not sure 🤔 x

I have severe itchiness on my legs. I bruise so badly from how bad I scratch. I’m thinking it’s the hydroxychloroquine, I stopped it for a while to test it out and yes, my itchiness stopped, but my lupus symptoms worsen, so I went back on it.

Ok, it depends on the severity of your rashes but I'd recommend talking to a dermatologist to at least get some cream to sooth the itchiness. For me, I have fibromyalgia and eczema 🙃it got so bad where I was in the hospital constantly because the open patches were all over my body, and they never healed so I kept getting painful infections. I started taking bi weekly Dupixent Injections and I'm so much better.

I don't get a rash but I do get 'itchy patches' they are extremely frustrating because no matter what I do I can't get rid of them

Yes. So much itchy. Like I don't WANT to rip my skin off but I'm less opposed to the idea. Stupid nerves also won't let me wear jeans anymore.

the only way I can wear jeans are if they are tight skinny jeans... I mean bottoms in general I have to wear tights, biker shorts, or skinny jeans to be comfortable, and underwear with them is out of the question becausethe sensation that fabric rubbing together causes is excruciating... I love to wear dresses, and I still do. But it so uncomfortable that I don't do it often.
