I used to live in Ohio so I went to University Hospital in Cleveland. My insurance actually paid for it, but most don't. I live in Florida now. I'm still getting treatments, but I pay for them myself. It's $350 every month. I love ketamine. I'm a chronic pain patient as well as mental health. It really helps me. I feel a lot calmer in my mind now.

Does your insurance pay for that? I was told that medicaid will not pay for ketamine under any circumstances and it is way too expensive for me to afford on SSI

I’ve found that ketamine nasal spray for depression helps alleviate my pain some, and medicaid (as well as most insurance companies, will pay for it.) I’ve never personally been able to get the infusions.

Knightstarr, I had Caresource in Ohio and they paid for it.

I’m also in Ohio. I’m looking for a doctor to administer ketamine for RSDS. I am having my pain pump removed in April and I need to find something to help with the pain. I’m currently on 8mgs of dilaudid to supplement what my pump was doing for me however, it barely touches the pain.

I am going to pain management on Friday. I am going to ask my doctor about lidocaine and ketamine. Thanks
