Klonopin affecting my cognitive skills

KLONOPIN side effects: so my cognitive skills have been worse than ever lately, since i started taking kpins. i had ect done years ago but it should’ve resolved by now. anyone else have problems focusing/following convos/remembering things on klonopin? what can i do to get rid of this? my doc just doubled my dose 😳

I am on Klonopin 4 mg twice a day and I had the same thing when I started at the highest dose but now after about six weeks and started to go back to normal

How much are you taking a day? You should only really be taking it once at most

im on 0.5mg twice a day, so 1mg. if i don’t take it there’s a 99% chance ill have a panic attack so it’s kinda hard for me to only take it once 😅 it’s a 12 hour med so if i only take it at night it doesn’t last all through the next day.. :/

Maybe get a second opinion from another dr? Klonopin is a controlled substance and it can cause memory issues if it’s too high
