It's does not help my anxiety, and I'm not sure it can, but I'm no doctor

It's not technically prescribed for anxiety on its own. However it can be prescribed for anxiety if you have another condition that coincides with anxiety. For example, your ocd may causes anxiety and ao it would help. It is also prescribed specifically for people with ocd. (I'm a nurse and this is based off of research and experience during work in the hospital)

I am not bipolar and took lamictal for my panic attacks some years ago. It was very very helpful.

I was on it once and it didn’t really help my symptoms for long, bipolar or anxiety

I’m not bipolar but I’ve been on lamictal for about 4 years and it’s the only med that’s really worked out for me :)
