It's worked well for me. It does have day-of withdrawals, though, so make sure you are always set with enough!

It’s good for bipolar depression. I also used to randomly cry frequently all the time (likely due to stress + ASD) and that stopped entirely

This was one of the first meds I was ever put on and I’m still on it at 300mg. I need other things in addition but i for sure would be so much worse off without it.

I took it for over 7 years for bi Polar and bpd but I could never tell the difference I just took myself off doing better now than ever mentally but I’ve been doing a lot more reflecting and intentionally being super self aware . It caused major bone density issues for me 38 yrs old and fractured my hip like a n elderly person

I've been taking Lamotrigine for the last seven years and have had to get them adjusted several times and have maxed out the allotted mgs. I take 175mg of Lamotrigine and 500mg of Depakote ( in the morning ), then at night, I take 1000 mg of Depakote and 500mg of SeroQuel.
