Late ADHD Diagnosis and Starting Medication

Just got late diagnosed with ADHD at 32. Psych started me on generic Zoloft first for my “moderate” depression. Follow up in 2 weeks. Then possible begin Adderall. This is my first time taking meds because I’ve always feared them. But my ADHD symptoms have been severe my whole life even documented in school reports but never officially diagnosed. Anyone else dealt with this? 🥺😞 hoping this helps. Always looking for natural remedies too.

My doctor put me on Adderall. I usually self evaluate in the mornings before taking it because it is a stimulant. Sometimes I wake up already feeling stimulated or even over stimulated, so I don't take it on those days. Also, it stays in your system for about 6 hours, so avoid taking it within 6 hours of your bedtime or it could interfere with your sleep.
