I wish people will stop offering me alternative treatments or some treatment they heard about on tv. I chose a doctor who treats based on evidence-based medicine and I will listen to what he has to say

Honestly, I wish people knew that cancer isn't just a physical battle but also a mental and emotional one too. People always ask about my treatment and scans, but no one asks how I'm really doing. It's like, yeah, I'm surviving, but I'm also struggling to stay sane. Let's talk about that stuff too, you know?

I wish people knew that it's okay to not be okay. Cancer is hard, and it's normal to feel overwhelmed, angry, or sad. Don't put on a brave face for others, just be real!

Cancer does not define me. People tend to show pity instead of empathy.
