haha, considering i discovered that i had bpd when i was 15, there's been a lot. i've seen a LOT. i did a lot of research on it because there was no way to get a diagnosis before 18. ran a blog on it, read a lot on it. by now i'm pretty good at spotting symptoms in myself and others. i was the one who brought it up to the therapist that diagnosed me - we went through the dsm together. now it's been a year since that. having the diagnosis means i'm more confident in the symptoms i see in myself, and knowing the signs in myself makes it easier to control. it's still not easy. i lose control a lot. but awareness is the first step, or at least was for me
