I was diagnosed with ADHD when I was in fourth grade but since then it has gradually changed to ADD It has most definitely caused me to not have friends back in elementary. But now I have the perfect amount of friends

There is no ADD l. You probably have what is known as ADHD inattentive type now.

Honestly my understanding is that a lot of research is suggesting there is not necessarily inattentive vs hyperactive types, but internalized or externalized hyperactivity, or a spectrum of symptoms. It may be that your hyperactivity manifests differently with age or you have learned ways to manage it without as much effort to do so. Of course, like 100Percent_K said, the DSM5 has changed but does not reflect this research
