Hi. Sorry to hear it’s so tough! My situation is probably different & I don’t have real answers but meditation/mindfulness helps me function and temporarily reduce pain /symptoms. I couldn’t do without it. I will be seeing a pain specialist soon but not convinced it will be helpful.

Judy I’m so sorry to hear your pain is so bad. I have MS and fibromyalgia, so I don’t know if my pain is from both or one or the other. My pain is sometimes a 10/10 but sometimes a 4/10. I take amitriptyline and Celebrex as prescriptions. I meditate most days and do deep breathing. The deep breathing from your diaphragm resets your central nervous system which helps. I do that for 15 minutes a day.

Not a neurologist but specifically a pain management doctor. It’s a specialty in itself. I’m in Los Angeles.

I also have a lot of pain, mine is due to spasticity. I use baclofen, clonazepam, Botox, and THC+CBD. There several kinds of pain in MS, so you have to treat according to the cause of the pain. Consider visiting a pain doctor as well as your MS doc.
