I’m on medication and they don’t affect me anymore! When I had them, it was tough in daily life but those I was close to understood what was happening and they helped me a lot.

I’m on medication but it only slows them down. I’m unable to drive, can’t hold a job for long, yet can’t get on disability.

When I was first diagnosed I couldn’t do sports. I had to quit cross country and thankfully at that time soccer season was almost over but I had to stop because my seizures for some reason always occurre when I was doing something active or using multiple devices. But ever since I started my medicine I haven’t had a seizure since and I was able to do those things again I just had to make sure I took my medicine.

I need to keep everything in my life stable. That includes my mental and physical health, my diet, my meds. Everything.

it feels like i’m just waiting for the next one. I have myoclonic ones everyday, those will never go away and i’m accustomed to them, but they’re relatively close to calling my epilepsy drug-resistant. it’s scary and it sucks.
