Another year has gone by. Had endonasal skull base brain surgery. Doing well. Getting a check up in a week and will see if they want to radiation. They said it might be up to me. I feel better knowing it’s out and not hanging over my head. Cvj clival Chordoma is the official diagnosis.

Headed to get a surgical biopsy because they found an enlarged lymph node that is next to my carotid artery. I’m supposed to start radiation on Monday. 35 rounds of proton radiation. Said I might lose some hair, be tired, and potentially have a sore throat to the point of not eating

Lymph node turned out to be fine. I’m over halfway through radiation. I’ve been having a time with nausea. I’m on 4 different medications and have had a difficult time eating and drinking. Good news is they don’t think I will really lose much hair now. I can’t wait to be done. It’s exhausting. I do have a little bit of sore throat and ears. One strange thing is every smell seems to be offensive to my nose.
