Took 25 years but I’m now pre diabetic. So, the endocrinologist put me on metformin. She somehow doesn’t believe haldol can cause weight gain but taking it off and on for over twenty years, I do not agree.

Drugs can either increase or decrease your appetite. In your case, the drugs you take in increases your appetite. The drug gives you a greater desire to eat more than usual. Right? If so, then examine the things in your refrigerator and cabinets. Control yourself. Eat smaller portion. Enjoy chewing and tasting your food until it becomes liquid. And digest it. You will find yourself eating less for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Take a simple walk. Speed walk if you like. Walk until you begin feel fat burns, then you can go home for the day. Make you sleep at least eight hours a night. Now, just Enjoy your Food, Walk until fat burns, and get quality sleep. Over time, your health will improve. It can happen if you are consistent on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
