Loss of appetite for months, need advice

Back in November I got sick (or at least what I can only describe as sick) and could barely eat for a whole week. This loss of appetite has preserved for months and I have no idea what could be causing. I have been trying to gain it back but can never quite eat enough to make a difference. Does anyone have any idea what could be the cause?

i’ve stopped eating at least 50% of the food amounts i used to eat. it’s like i trained myself not to get hungry anymore. i lost 10 pounds and i was honestly so happy bc i’ve been wanting to lose weight for forever. but if ur sick, ur brain can associate food as a bad thing since it may have made u throw up and maybe it carried on to now. just an idea

In 2012 diagnosed with my 2nd cancer diagnosis and went on hospice. Because of the amount of meds given, barely ate for the 5 yrs on hospice. Remission in 2018 but still unable to eat. Drs kept asking me why...I had no clue. When we don't eat, then our bodies start eating itself. Struggled with weighting 85 lbs for few years and basically had to retrain myself to eat. Daily calories, blah blah. I found most importantly just make yourself. 2 years later went from 85 to 105. We can do this!!
