Lower Back Pain and POTS Symptoms

Dies anyone get lower back/side pain? I almost feel like I'm getting period cramps but I 100% am not on my period. I'm watching out to see if I have POTS and I'm trying to keep track of symptoms.

Can you help? Connect today

Yes I do however I don’t think mine is from POTS. You could have a comorbidity that would explain it? That’s my case. I would still log the symptom anyway

Most pain I get from my POTS is soreness with coat hanger headaches ( think shoulders and neck) due to poor circulation making those areas have to work harder. I also get searing nerve pain through the day. But just for the back and sides it comes from my hEDS and GI issues. Might want to check if you are hypermobile or if that area has an organ issue. Its hard for me to distinguish period pain and other organ pain in the same area but i do know when my hips get really messed up it feels just as bad as cramps and in similar places. Super deep and throbbing. A lot of us with hEDS also have POTS due to the complications it brings.

Yes. Sometimes to the point the pain sent me to the ER. I found out I have May Thurner Syndrome and I’m getting a stent placed soon. Apparently it’s not super uncommon to have MTS if you also have EDS/POTS as well!
