Dealing with Lower Back Pain and Scoliosis at a Young Age

I got a random back pain yesterday, I have lumbar scoliosis and was diagnosed a few years ago with it, got an xray it was 28 degrees, so not severe. However, I haven’t had this pain since then (I was around 17 and am 19 now) and suddenly when I’m trying to build core muscles I get a tweak in my back and it puts me out for a few days. It hurts on the side where it curves away from so I’m guessing its instability related, but it is frustrating since I was just sitting down eating when I got the pain. I was wondering if anyone else had the same experience with lower back pains?
