I had to stop working in 2015 due to my lupus cognitive issues and I miss working terribly.

I’m hoping it doesn’t come to that. Sorry that happened to you.

It sux, my job was how I got my identity. I worked 70 hours a week and for the most part I loved what I did. I miss dealing with people and the camaraderie of coworkers

What cognitive issues specifically? I am a nurse and I feel like my cognitive issues increased after having covid. I started a new job and found I could not remember the steps in the computer system to do my job. I would skip a step and get stuck. Someone would explain something to me and after the first step my mind could not grasp the rest. I was let go due to this. Anyone else have anything similar to this?

i am a nurse too and the same thing happened to me after covid. My cognitive issues are the same as yours with major issues with short term memory.
