Dealing with Herx reaction during Lyme treatment

Hi friends! Has anyone experienced a Herx reaction before? I am starting treatment for likely Lyme and Mold Toxicity. I was wondering if anyone has been through this and how they combatted their Herx symptoms? I need some tips! Thanks!

I have several times, honestly it’s not that much different than when ur symptoms are just flaring up so i just treated it the same way i would those, mostly taking advil and sleeping it off

I’m gonna have to disagree about it being similar to a flare up, I’m guessing it’s different for everyone, because the initial Herx from a treatment could knock me on my ass (literally could not get off my bed and hallucinating). One thing one of my docs recommended and I found really helped is to drink lemon juice. And when I say lemon juice, I mean squeeze a lemon into a cup of water. If your face isn’t twisted at least 90 degrees from puckering up, it’s too diluted. Bottled lemon juice also works, but sadly not lemonade.

I don’t really remember herxing specific to mold detox, but that took 2+ years for me… I was essentially couch or bed ridden regardless from the Lyme
