Managing ADHD without medication: Is it possible?

Is there anything I can do to manage my combination ADHD other than medicine? I’m scared to talk to my doctor about medication because I don’t want to be on anything heavy like Adderall and risk getting addicted.

Can you help? Connect today

Hey, I’ve a long history of ADHD as well and if you don’t like allopathic medicine (rightfully so), if you have Instagram try following dr.Jess.md and she has amazing resources. She has her own line of holistic therapies and medicines and a whole website dedicated to help you and educate you on how manage these conditions. I’ve found her very helpful. She has helped 100s of long time adderall, focalin etc users get off of the medications and thrive too

I take straterra, it's still a med, but not controlled. I talked to my doctor and told her I specifically didn't want a controlled substance. It's not managing it 100% but we'll enough.
