Managing Anxiety with ADHD Medication

I take 30mg Ritalin extended-release for ADHD on school days and other days I need to follow other people's schedules for hours. This dosage increases my anxiety a significant and very unpleasant amount, but lower Ritalin dosages does do not help enough. I'm looking for either a way to manage the increased anxiety or a medicine to use in place of Ritalin that is effective but will not increase my anxiety so much.

I use gabapentin to ease my anxiety if my Vyvanse or caffeine intake edges it out to much

i would ask your doctor if they think you should switch, or if there's possibly something you could take in conjunction with the ritalin to help with the anxiety. i take vyvanse, not ritalin, but my doctor prescribed hydroxyzine for anxiety. i'm supposed to take it every day but i just take it when i'm feeling anxious and it helps some.
